Jade joined Simba from her midwifery training and quickly realised that she wanted to be involved in bereavement care, supporting families in their loss.

Kelsay joined Simba in April 2022, when the opportunity of being part of a Fundraising Team came up!
Support Service Assistant
Morna joined Simba at the beginning of July 2023 to fulfil the role of Support Service Assistant on a temporary basis. She has been involved in various secretarial and administration roles throughout her working life.

Sarah is an engaging, collaborative, and thoughtful leader, specialising in leading high performing teams; fostering partnerships; culture and change management; volunteer development; and developing and implementing strategic and operational plans.
Fundraising and Communications Lead
Stephanie has come to Simba from the media and advertising industry. She wanted to find a role within a charity where she could apply her experience and organisational skills to helping people; she found this in her role within the Fundraising Team!
Head of Fundraising and Communications
Vanessa joined Simba in November 2022, bringing with her over 25 years’ experience working with UK charities, most recently with Age Scotland, Alzheimer Scotland and Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, all in senior fundraising and communications roles.

Bryan has worked in the third sector for the past decade and first became aware of the noble work done by Simba when he and his wife experienced the loss of their son Milo at 41 weeks in March 2019.

Doug is married with two children and has had a broad and varied career in Learning & Development, primarily across the sporting sector where he supports the development of coaches in performance sport.

Emma has over 20 years’ experience at senior level in Human Resources, helping organisations achieve their strategic goals by building cultures in which their people thrive, and now runs her own HR Consultancy supporting small businesses and charities.

As the Executive Officer and EDI Lead for a National Governing Body, Francesca brings to the Board her experience in governance and affecting positive change.

Heather is experienced in leading strategic continuous improvement and oversees the operations of a large faculty in a higher education institution.

Jonny guides the family at design agency Fifth House. After studying Design in Leeds, he cut his teeth with some of the world’s biggest brands as a Creative at various agencies.

Mark is married and lives with his wife and daughter in Glasgow, and has several years’ experience within accountancy, working within both public and private accounting roles.

Robbie lives in Fife with his wife and three children. He’s been a solicitor specialising in Medical Negligence and Personal Injury for over 15 years.

Stephanie lives with her husband, Peter, her two daughters Sophie and Olivia and Brodie their Labrador. Their second child, Ruben, was born prematurely at 25 weeks and sadly was only with us for a few hours.
Chair of the Board
Theresa is a multi disciplinary and multi agency leader with over 40 years experience in a range of sectors including front line nursing, nursing education, Scottish Government and most recently with the Royal College of Nursing.
