SiMBA is immensely proud today as The Memorial Book of Pregnancy and Baby Loss Prior to 24 Weeks in Scotland is launched. This world leading joint initiative between the Scottish Government and the National Records of Scotland (NRS) was developed after listening to people who have experienced a pregnancy or baby loss prior to 24 weeks of pregnancy.
SiMBA was among the eight dedicated Charities who worked tirelessly to develop and deliver this initiative in collaboration with the Scottish Government. For the very first time, it offers the opportunity, to provide formal recognition and can offer comfort to those in Scotland who wish to have a record of their loss.
To apply, parents can go online to request an application form (or request a form by post) from the National Records of Scotland.
